It has been a rather crazy time for A level students all over the country as the weather has become increasingly similar to that of Russia-cold.
Whilst many drive to work, those who take public transport have been victims of the weather conditions, and most affected have been students, especially those whom have had exams over the past couple of weeks.
Whilst many students hoped that they would be ‘snowed in’ like last year in February, transportation has been all prepared and running throughout the snow, therefore students hopes have been dimmed, and they’ve had to go and study in the freezing weather. Many have argued as to why is it that in countries such as Spain, students don’t go to school because it is ‘too hot’, however ‘too cold’ is not taken as an excuse!
For those students whom have had exams, it has been a real nightmare, because whether they’re ill due to the weather conditions, or have been having terrible difficulties to get into school or college, there has been no excuse. Schools and colleges have also been severely harsh on their students, not even giving them the day off when it was literally Siberia-cold.
As the month of January goes on, the weather does not seem to be getting any warmer, although there were some hopes, more snow has been forecasted in the coming days.
