A Brentford landlord has been charged with running an illegal stripclub in his bar.

Police swooped on the Albany Arms on Saturday and arrested Kevin Cannanan, who lives above the pub, and charged the 41-year-old with two counts of unauthorised licensed activity, namely dancing.

Cannanan did not appear in court on Tuesday. The landlord has been summonsed to Feltham Magistrates’ Court on July 20.
