Brentford's very own Wolverine is fast becoming this year's most talked about BB housemate as his fan group tipped the 1,000 mark - the largest of all contestants.

Hairy mullet-lover Marcus Akin - whose imaginatively titled fan group "Marcus Akin to win Big Brother" - has even had a mention on spin-off show Big Brother's Little Brother. He could be the latest housemate to have a romance on camera as viewers have seen him get steamy with Irish beauty Noirin.

The single 35-year-old, who has had the same mullet for 10 years, has admitted he fanices the 25-year-old but has ruled out making a move inside the house.

The pair got personal when Marcus said to Norin: "You do realise how beautiful you are though, don't you?"

But Noirin replied she wanted to stop using her looks to get attention.

"All my life I've used my looks as a weapon to get what I want," she said. "I want to use my personality."

Marcus added that he felt the same way when it came to helping out with DIY. "It's like I'm a living tool," he said.

Fans of the carpenter, who lives alone, have hailed their hairy hero as the only contestant who speaks the truth and claimed his straight talking may see him scoop this year's crown.

This week posh politican Freddie and shy Sree will face the public vote.
